Delete your account

Your account and all associated data can be permanently deleted from within the app. You don't need to email us.

How to delete your account from the app

  1. Open the Quiet Sit app.
  2. Tap the ⋮ icon at the top-right of the Today screen.
  3. Scroll to the Account section.
  4. Tap Delete account.
  5. Confirm the second prompt (“Delete your account? This can’t be undone.”).

What gets deleted

Immediately, from our servers:

  • Your email address and authentication record
  • Your entire sit history (all timestamps, outcomes, games played)
  • Your subscription state record
  • Any weekly reflection notes you wrote

This deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.

What is NOT deleted

Deleting your Quiet Sit account does not:

  • Cancel your Apple or Google subscription. You must cancel that separately through your device’s Settings or the app store. See our support page for exact steps.
  • Remove the app from your device. Uninstall the app manually if you want to remove it.
  • Delete local device settings. Preferences saved on your phone (like sit duration, whether calm activity is on) remain until you uninstall.

Can’t access the app?

If you lost your phone or the app isn’t working, email us at support@quietsit.com with the email address you used to sign up. We’ll manually delete the account after we confirm the request.

Reactivating later

Deleted accounts can’t be recovered, but you’re welcome to sign up again with the same email address. Your prior sit history will not be restored.
